'WOLKEN', illustrated poems of Saar Breimer, a happy art zine

This little DUTCH book I made with Saar Breimer, writer and poet. Saar Breimer is a Dutch writer. Among others she writes poems that are soft to the soul, calming to the mind and uplifting the spirit.
We started a project: she writes poems inspired on my images and I make images inspired on her poems.
Out of our first experiments we made this little book of 24 pages.

We also designed some art prints (fine art giclée prints) based on the books. They can be framed and hung on your wall.

Each month I explore a theme and make a 'zine' about it. The name 'zine' is short for 'magazine'. I call my little books 'happy art zines'.

The size is 20x20 cm, 7,9x7,9 inch

The cover is made of heavy 300 gr white paper, the inside pages are 160 grams white paper.
